ð * INTRODUCTION *
Another diskmag enters the scene...?!? Oh no! - It's one of those boring
packdisks again... Well, not exactly. I mean - this is a packdisk, but with a
different style than the regular ones. This PEANUTS packdisk series is a
little revolution, and I would like you to join in this new era of packing!
First of all, here are some instructions. This text can be scrolled up/down by
using the arrow keys (15 lines at a time). <Return> or LMB will take you back
to the menus. In the menus, use the mouse or the arrow keys + <Return> to
select.
I suppose you have noticed that PEANUTS will, apart from the usual demos and
intros, also include messages - or short articles - as well as advertisements.
Many of the packdisks have been considered boring by a lot of people, because
there is such an immense number of packdisks with the same BBS intros, demos
etc. which are released. Almost every group have their own packdisk, and
that makes such a regular packdisk quite boring.
When I first got the idea to make PEANUTS, I wanted to make something
out of the ordinary. After consulting with Megadeth, and adding his ideas
about the layout etc., he coded this "selector". It differs quite a lot from
other packdisks, but you'll be the judge of whether it's a success or not.
The menu system is quite simple to understand. There are directories which
contain different topics: One for the demos/intros, one for some articles/
messages, and one for miscellaneous stuff. If several freaks are interested in
having their ads in PEANUTS, there will be an Advertisements directory later in
the series. I'll not explain the menu system any further - explore it by
yourselves.
